The inspiration behind these artworks emerged from my desire to incorporate artificial intelligence into my creative process and further explore technology-driven masks. With AI as a new tool in my artistic arsenal, I experimented with how technology could shape a mask that embodies both beauty and distress, capturing the intricate relationship between creativity and the ever-evolving digital landscape. This integration of AI enabled me to push the boundaries of traditional artistry while maintaining control as the creator, blending human intuition with technological innovation.
For this section, I drew inspiration from a series of 2D mask explorations that I drew back in the 90's. I wondered—what if I applied AI to transform these flat designs into something with depth and dimensionality? By doing so, I brought them to life in 3D form. Here are the finished pieces.
